Position Overview:
We seek a dynamic and experienced Virtual Learning and Development (L&D) Program Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in designing, implementing, and managing virtual learning programs that drive employee development and organizational growth. Key Responsibilities:
- Program Development and Management:
- Design, develop, and manage virtual learning and development programs tailored to the needs of various teams and levels within the organization.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify learning needs and business objectives, ensuring that programs align with organizational goals.
- Create and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets for L&D initiatives.
- Content Creation and Delivery:
- Develop and curate engaging training materials, including e-learning modules, webinars, and interactive activities that enhance learning outcomes.
- Utilize a variety of instructional design methodologies and technologies to deliver high-quality virtual training sessions.
- Ensure that content is accessible, inclusive, and aligned with best practices in adult learning and virtual education.
- Technology Management:
- Oversee the selection, implementation, and management of virtual learning platforms and tools.
- Ensure the seamless integration of technology solutions with existing systems and processes.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in virtual learning to enhance the program offerings continuously.
- Evaluation and Continuous Improvement:
- Develop and implement metrics and evaluation methods to assess the effectiveness of L&D programs.
- Collect and analyze feedback from participants and stakeholders to drive continuous improvement and optimize learning experiences.
- Report on program outcomes, including performance metrics and return on investment, to senior leadership.
- Stakeholder Engagement and Support:
- Act as a liaison between the L&D team and other departments, fostering strong relationships and ensuring alignment with departmental and organizational objectives.
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees regarding learning and development opportunities.
- Facilitate workshops and coaching sessions to address specific learning needs and challenges.
- Team Leadership and Collaboration:
- Lead and mentor a team of L&D professionals, providing direction, feedback, and support to ensure successful program execution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate learning solutions into broader business initiatives.
- Promote a culture of learning and development within the organization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelorโs degree in Human Resources, Education, Organizational Development, or a related field. Masterโs degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CPLP, ATD) preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in learning and development, with at least 3 years of experience managing virtual training programs.
- Proven expertise in instructional design, e-learning development, and virtual training delivery.
- Strong understanding of learning management systems (LMS) and other e-learning technologies.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions to enhance learning outcomes.
- Experience working in a fully remote or distributed team environment is highly desirable.
