About the Role:

As a Digital Ad Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing the end-to-end process of digital advertising campaigns. This role is critical in ensuring the successful execution and performance of our clientsโ€™ advertising strategies across various digital platforms. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and analytics, to deliver data-driven results that align with our clients' business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Campaign Management:
    • Oversee the entire lifecycle of digital ad campaigns, from setup to execution, optimization, and reporting.
    • Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to understand campaign objectives, target audience, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
    • Ensure timely and accurate trafficking of ad campaigns across multiple platforms including Google Ads, Facebook, LinkedIn, and programmatic networks.
    • Implement tracking pixels and manage tag management systems to ensure accurate performance tracking.
  2. Optimization and Reporting:
    • Monitor campaign performance daily, identifying trends and making real-time adjustments to optimize for maximum ROI.
    • Use A/B testing, audience segmentation, and other techniques to enhance campaign effectiveness.
    • Provide detailed performance reports and insights to clients and internal teams, highlighting key metrics such as CTR, conversion rates, and CPA.
    • Develop strategies for continuous improvement of ad operations processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  3. Technical Management:
    • Manage and troubleshoot ad delivery issues, including discrepancies in data, incorrect tracking, and other technical challenges.
    • Work with third-party ad servers and platforms to ensure seamless delivery of ads.
    • Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in ad operations and digital marketing.
    • Manage and maintain ad servers, DSPs, and other relevant technology platforms.
  4. Collaboration and Communication:
    • Act as the primary point of contact for all ad operations-related matters, providing support and guidance to clients and internal teams.
    • Collaborate with creative teams to ensure that ad creatives meet technical specifications and are delivered on time.
    • Work closely with the analytics team to ensure that campaign performance data is accurate and actionable.
    • Liaise with external vendors and partners to ensure the smooth operation of campaigns.
  5. Compliance and Quality Assurance:
    • Ensure all campaigns comply with industry standards and regulations, including GDPR, CCPA, and other data privacy laws.
    • Conduct regular audits of campaigns to ensure accuracy, performance, and adherence to best practices.
    • Implement quality assurance processes to catch and rectify any errors before campaigns go live.
  6. Budget Management:
    • Oversee campaign budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of spending across channels to achieve the best possible outcomes.
    • Monitor pacing to ensure that campaigns remain within budget while still meeting performance goals.
    • Provide clients and internal teams with budget forecasts and recommendations based on historical performance data.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in digital ad operations, preferably within an agency or fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in ad-serving platforms such as Google Ad Manager, DoubleClick, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of programmatic advertising, RTB, and DSPs.
  • Expertise in data analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or similar.
  • Experience with tag management systems (e.g., Google Tag Manager).
  • Advanced knowledge of digital marketing principles, including SEO, SEM, social media, and display advertising.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment, with strong time management and organizational skills.
