Position Overview:
The Online Communications Coordinator manages, develops, and implements digital communication strategies to enhance brand visibility and engagement. Key Responsibilities:
- Digital Content Creation and Management:
- Develop and curate high-quality content for various digital platforms, including websites, blogs, social media, and email campaigns.
- Collaborate with content creators, graphic designers, and video producers to ensure the creation of engaging and visually appealing materials.
- Maintain and update content calendars, ensuring timely delivery of all communication materials.
- Optimize content for SEO to improve visibility and reach across search engines.
- Social Media Management:
- Oversee and manage all social media accounts, including content planning, posting, and community engagement.
- Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement.
- Monitor social media trends, tools, and applications to keep the company’s online presence relevant and innovative.
- Analyze and report on social media performance, using insights to refine strategies and tactics.
- Email Marketing:
- Designed and executed email marketing campaigns, including newsletters, promotional emails, and drip campaigns.
- Manage and segment email lists to target specific audience groups effectively.
- To optimize future campaigns, analyze the performance of email campaigns, including open rates, click-through rates, and conversion rates.
- Ensure all email communications are aligned with brand guidelines and messaging.
- Website and Online Presence Management:
- I will work closely with the web development team to manage the website's content, ensuring it is current, accurate, and engaging.
- Implement strategies to enhance user experience (UX) and drive traffic to the website.
- Monitor website analytics to understand user behavior and improve site performance.
- Collaborate on the creation and optimization of landing pages for marketing campaigns.
- Analytics and Reporting:
- Track, analyze, and report on the performance of digital communication efforts using tools like Google Analytics, social media insights, and email marketing software.
- Provide regular reports to management, highlighting key metrics, trends, and areas for improvement.
- Use data-driven insights to inform and adjust digital communication strategies.
- Collaboration and Coordination:
- Work closely with the marketing, PR, and product teams to ensure consistent messaging across all communication channels.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and strategy meetings to contribute ideas for improving digital communication.
- Coordinate with external partners, agencies, and influencers to amplify the company’s online presence.
- Brand Consistency and Compliance:
- Ensure all digital communications align with the company’s brand voice, style, and guidelines.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in all online communications.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in digital communication.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 3-5 years of experience in digital communications, social media management, or a similar role.
- Technical Skills: The candidate must be proficient in content management systems (CMS), social media platforms, email marketing tools, and analytics software. Familiarity with SEO and UX principles is a plus.
