About the Role:

As the Online Content and Communications Strategist, you will create, manage, and optimize content that engages, informs, and inspires our target audience. Key Responsibilities:
- Content Strategy Development:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with the company’s brand, goals, and objectives.
- Conduct thorough market research to understand the target audience, competitors, and industry trends.
- Create content calendars and timelines to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality content.
- Identify key content themes and topics that resonate with our audience, ensuring a balance between brand messaging, customer engagement, and SEO best practices.
- Content Creation and Management:
- Write, edit, and produce a wide range of content, including blog posts, articles, newsletters, social media updates, website copy, and more.
- Collaborate with designers, videographers, and other content creators to produce multimedia content that enhances user experience.
- Ensure all content is on-brand, consistent in style and tone, and optimized for search engines and the target audience.
- Manage the editorial calendar, ensuring timely publication and promotion of content across all platforms.
- Communications Strategy:
- Develop and implement a strategic communications plan to enhance the company’s brand and reputation.
- Craft clear, compelling messaging for internal and external communications, including press releases, email campaigns, and corporate announcements.
- Monitor and respond to online conversations and inquiries, maintaining a positive and engaging brand presence.
- Collaborate with PR teams to coordinate media outreach and maintain relationships with journalists, bloggers, and influencers.
- Social Media Management:
- Oversee the strategy and execution of the company’s social media presence across all platforms.
- Create and curate engaging content for social media channels, ensuring alignment with overall content strategy.
- Monitor social media trends, tools, and applications and apply that knowledge to increase the company’s social media presence.
- Analyze social media metrics and use insights to improve engagement and reach.
- SEO and Analytics:
- Implement SEO best practices in content creation to drive organic traffic and improve search engine rankings.
- Utilize analytics tools to track content performance and provide regular reports on key metrics, including traffic, engagement, and conversion rates.
- Make data-driven recommendations for content optimization and strategy adjustments based on performance analysis.
- Collaboration and Leadership:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and sales, to ensure content supports broader company initiatives.
- Led and mentored junior content creators, guiding content development and strategy.
- Coordinate with external partners, such as freelance writers, agencies, and influencers, to expand content reach and impact.
- Act as a brand ambassador, ensuring all communications reflect the company’s values, mission, and goals.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in content strategy, digital marketing, or communications, with a proven track record of success.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Strong understanding of SEO, content marketing, and digital analytics.
- Proficiency in content management systems (e.g., WordPress) and social media platforms.
- Experience in creating and managing content across various formats, including written, visual, and video.
- Ability to analyze and interpret data to inform content and communications strategies.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
