We seek a highly skilled and experienced Online Display Media Buyer to join our dynamic, fast-paced marketing team. You will plan, execute, and optimize display advertising campaigns across various platforms as an Online Display Media Buyer. This role requires a deep understanding of digital media buying, data analysis, and the ability to drive high ROI through strategic ad placements. Key Responsibilities:

1. Campaign Strategy and Planning:

  • Develop, implement, and manage display media buying strategies that align with the company's overall marketing objectives.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to understand target audience profiles and devise strategies to reach them effectively.
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify the most appropriate platforms, ad formats, and targeting techniques for each campaign.
  • Set clear campaign goals, including KPIs such as impressions, click-through rates (CTR), conversion rates, and return on ad spend (ROAS).

2. Media Buying and Ad Placement:

  • Execute display media buys across various platforms, including Google Display Network, programmatic ad exchanges, social media platforms, and direct site placements.
  • Negotiate and manage media buys to ensure cost efficiency and maximum campaign exposure.
  • Work with ad operations and creative teams to ensure timely and accurate ad placements.
  • Monitor ad placements to meet quality standards and align with brand guidelines.

3. Campaign Optimization:

  • Continuously monitor and analyze campaign performance data, including impressions, CTR, conversions, and ROI.
  • Use data-driven insights to optimize ad placements, creative assets, and bidding strategies for maximum performance.
  • Perform A/B testing to identify the most effective ad creatives, formats, and targeting options.
  • Adjust campaigns in real-time based on performance metrics to ensure campaign objectives are met or exceeded.

4. Budget Management:

  • Manage and allocate media budgets across campaigns, optimizing spending for maximum ROI.
  • Track and report on budget spend, ensuring campaigns stay within budget and deliver expected results.
  • Provide regular financial forecasts and reports to senior management.

5. Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with the creative team to develop compelling ad creatives that resonate with the target audience.
  • Collaborate with the analytics team to ensure accurate tracking and reporting of campaign performance.
  • Communicate campaign performance, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders clearly and concisely.
  • Build strong relationships with external vendors, including ad networks, publishers, and technology partners.

6. Reporting and Analysis:

  • Prepare comprehensive reports on campaign performance, including key metrics, insights, and recommendations for future campaigns.
  • Present findings to internal stakeholders, providing actionable insights that can be used to inform future media buying strategies.
  • Stay current with trends, tools, and best practices in buying digital media and display advertising.

7. Compliance and Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure all campaigns comply with industry regulations and best practices, including data privacy and brand safety standards.
  • Conduct regular audits of ad placements to ensure they meet quality standards and deliver a positive user experience.

8. Continuous Learning and Development:

  • Stay informed about the latest developments in digital advertising, including new technologies, platforms, and strategies.
  • Attend industry conferences, webinars, and training sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Share insights and best practices with the broader marketing team to contribute to the organization's success.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in digital media buying, specifically in display advertising.
  • Proven track record of managing successful display ad campaigns focusing on ROI.
  • Strong understanding of programmatic advertising, Google Display Network, and other digital advertising platforms.
  • Proficiency in using media buying tools and platforms, including DSPs (Demand-Side Platforms) and ad servers.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting, managing multiple campaigns and priorities simultaneously.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and quality.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and best practices in digital advertising.
