Position Overview:
We seek a dynamic and experienced Online Event Engagement Manager to lead and manage the engagement strategy for our virtual events. This remote position requires a creative, results-driven individual with a deep understanding of online community building, event management, and digital marketing. The Online Event Engagement Manager will enhance participant interaction, satisfaction, and overall experience across various virtual platforms. You will work closely with our marketing, communications, and event teams to ensure a cohesive and engaging experience for all attendees.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Event Engagement Strategy Development:
- Develop and implement innovative engagement strategies to increase participant interaction before, during, and after online events.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to align event engagement strategies with overall event objectives and company goals.
- Identify and analyze participant behaviors and preferences to tailor engagement activities and improve attendee satisfaction.
2. Pre-Event Engagement:
- Design and execute pre-event campaigns to build excitement and encourage early registration and participation.
- Created and managed online communities and discussion forums to foster connections among attendees before the event.
- Develop content such as blog posts, emails, and social media updates that highlight event features and encourage audience engagement.
3. Live Event Management:
- Oversee the live engagement during events, including moderating discussions, managing Q&A sessions, and coordinating interactive elements such as polls and live chats.
- Collaborate with speakers, panelists, and other stakeholders to enhance the live experience and ensure smooth event execution.
- Monitor and respond to attendee inquiries in real-time, ensuring high customer service and participant satisfaction.
4. Post-Event Follow-Up:
- Lead post-event engagement efforts, including the distribution of event content, follow-up surveys, and continued community interaction.
- Analyze event data and feedback to measure engagement success and identify areas for improvement in future events.
- Develop post-event reports and presentations to share insights with stakeholders and recommend strategies for future events.
5. Content Creation and Curation:
- Collaborate with content creators, designers, and marketing teams to develop engaging event-related content, including videos, articles, social media posts, and email campaigns.
- Ensure all content is aligned with the eventโs theme, objectives, and brand guidelines.
- Curate relevant content from external sources to enhance the value provided to event participants.
6. Community Building and Management:
- Build and manage online communities related to specific events or topics, ensuring a welcoming and engaging environment for all members.
- Foster long-term relationships with participants by creating continued interaction and engagement opportunities beyond the event.
- Implement strategies to grow the online community, attract new members, and retain existing ones.
7. Analytics and Reporting:
- Utilize analytics tools to track and measure the success of engagement strategies, identifying key performance indicators (KPIs) for each event.

8. Technology and Platform Management:

- Troubleshoot technical issues related to engagement tools and platforms during live events, ensuring minimal disruption for participants.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelorโs degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, or a related field. A Masterโs degree is a plus.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in online event management, digital marketing, or community engagement.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful engagement strategies for virtual events.
- Experience working with digital platforms and tools for virtual events and online communities.
