Overview:

We seek a dynamic and experienced Online Sustainability Strategy Consultant to join our team. This remote position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients and contribute to meaningful projects that advance sustainability goals.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategy Development:
   • Design and implement comprehensive sustainability strategies tailored to client's unique needs and goals.
   • Conduct thorough analyses of clients’ current sustainability practices and identify areas for improvement.
   • Develop actionable plans to enhance sustainability performance, including setting measurable targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
2. Market Research & Analysis:
   • Perform in-depth research on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in sustainability.
   • Analyze market data and competitive landscapes to provide insights and recommendations for clients.
   • Monitor regulatory changes and environmental policies to ensure clients' strategies comply with relevant standards.
3. Client Engagement & Communication:
   • Collaborate closely with clients to understand their sustainability objectives, challenges, and opportunities.
   • Prepare and deliver presentations, reports, and proposals that communicate strategy recommendations and progress.
   • Provide expert guidance and support to clients throughout the implementation of sustainability initiatives.
4. Project Management:
   • Oversee the execution of sustainability projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
   • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including internal staff and external partners, to achieve project goals.
   • Track project progress, manage risks, and adjust strategies as needed to address any issues that arise.
5. Content Creation & Training:
   • Develop and produce high-quality content, such as articles, white papers, and case studies, to showcase sustainability achievements and thought leadership.
   • Create training materials and conduct workshops to educate clients and their teams on sustainability practices and strategies.
   • Share insights and knowledge through webinars, blogs, and social media to enhance the client’s visibility and impact in the sustainability space.
6. Innovation & Continuous Improvement:
   • Stay updated with the latest advancements in sustainability and incorporate innovative approaches into client strategies.
   • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and propose enhancements to existing processes and practices.
   • Foster a culture of sustainability within client organizations by promoting best practices and encouraging proactive engagement.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., LEED, CEM) is preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in sustainability consulting, strategy development, or a related role. Proven track record of successfully implementing sustainability initiatives and managing projects.
• Skills:
  • Strong understanding of sustainability principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and persuasively.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
  • Experience with online platforms and digital tools for collaboration and content creation.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a remote work environment.
