Position Overview: We are looking for an Online Training Program Designer to create engaging, effective, and interactive training programs for a diverse audience. This role requires a creative individual with a passion for instructional design and a strong understanding of online learning principles. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to design and develop high-quality training content that meets the needs of our clients and learners.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and Development:
    • Develop comprehensive online training programs, including courses, modules, and learning materials that align with learning objectives and organizational goals.
    • Create engaging content using various instructional design models and methodologies, such as ADDIE, SAM, or Bloomโ€™s Taxonomy.
    • Develop multimedia elements, including videos, animations, and interactive activities, to enhance the learning experience.
    • Ensure all content is instructional, accurate, and adheres to the latest best practices in eLearning design.
  2. Needs Analysis and Research:
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify training needs and objectives, ensuring alignment with business goals and learner requirements.
    • Research industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to incorporate into training programs.
    • Analyze feedback and performance data to continuously improve and update training content.
  3. Project Management:
    • Manage multiple training design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project specifications.
    • Develop project plans, timelines, and milestones, and track progress to ensure successful completion.
    • Coordinate with subject matter experts (SMEs) and other team members to gather information and validate content accuracy.
  4. Quality Assurance:
    • Review and test training materials to ensure they function correctly across different devices and platforms.
    • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, surveys, and feedback mechanisms.
    • Implement revisions and improvements based on learner feedback and performance metrics.
  5. Collaboration and Communication:
    • Work closely with instructional designers, graphic designers, and developers to create cohesive and visually appealing training materials.
    • Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and provide regular updates on project status.
    • Facilitate training sessions and webinars, as needed, to support the implementation of new programs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Learning and Development, or a related field. Masterโ€™s degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in instructional design, eLearning development, or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in eLearning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similar software.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design models, and best practices in online learning.
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and familiarity with SCORM and xAPI standards.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create clear, concise, and engaging content.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a remote work environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in instructional design or eLearning development.
  • Experience with gamification and other interactive learning techniques.
  • Knowledge of graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite.
