Job Description: As a Remote eLearning and Development Advisor, you will be crucial in shaping and enhancing our eLearning initiatives. Your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and implement effective eLearning programs and training solutions tailored to the needs of our diverse audience. You will work with subject matter experts, instructional designers, and other stakeholders to ensure that our eLearning offerings are of the highest quality and meet the organization's strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. eLearning Program Development:
    • Develop and manage eLearning programs from conception to implementation, including needs analysis, design, development, and evaluation.
    • Create engaging and interactive online content, incorporating multimedia elements such as videos, graphics, and simulations to enhance the learning experience.
    • Design and develop assessments, quizzes, and other evaluation tools to measure learning outcomes and effectiveness.
  2. Instructional Design:
    • Apply instructional design principles and best practices to create structured and compelling learning experiences.
    • Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather content, define learning objectives, and ensure the accuracy and relevance of the material.
    • Develop and maintain course materials, including participant guides, facilitator guides, and supplementary resources.
  3. Technology Integration:
    • Utilize eLearning authoring tools, learning management systems (LMS), and other technology platforms to deliver and track eLearning programs.
    • Stay current with emerging eLearning technologies and trends to enhance our programs' effectiveness and efficiency continuously.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to eLearning platforms and content delivery.
  4. Training and Support:
    • Provide training and support to internal teams and learners on eLearning tools, platforms, and best practices.
    • Offer guidance and feedback to learners to facilitate their understanding and application of course content.
    • Monitor learner progress and provide recommendations for improvement based on data and feedback.
  5. Quality Assurance:
    • Conduct regular reviews of eLearning programs to ensure they meet quality standards and align with organizational goals.
    • Collect and analyze feedback from learners and stakeholders to continuously improve eLearning content and delivery.
    • Ensure compliance with accessibility standards and inclusivity in all eLearning materials.
  6. Project Management:
    • Manage multiple eLearning projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery, project scope, and budget adherence.
    • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and documentation to track progress and communicate status to stakeholders.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of eLearning initiatives with broader organizational objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Human Resources, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in eLearning or instructional design are a plus.
  • Proven experience in designing, developing, and implementing eLearning programs and training solutions.
  • Proficiency in eLearning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similar software.
  • Strong knowledge of learning management systems (LMS) and experience with platforms like Moodle, Blackboard, or Canvas.
  • Excellent understanding of instructional design principles, adult learning theories, and best practices in eLearning.
  • Ability to create engaging multimedia content using tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Camtasia, or similar applications.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to effectively manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote work environment.

  • Experience in a remote work environment with a proven track record of successfully managing remote projects.
  • Familiarity with emerging trends and technologies in eLearning and professional development.
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting tools to measure the effectiveness of eLearning programs.
