Job Overview:

As the Remote Fundraising Events Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing a variety of fundraising events that align with our organizational goals. You will work closely with internal teams, volunteers, and external partners to ensure each event is well-coordinated and achieves its fundraising targets. Your role will involve everything from initial concept development to post-event analysis, ensuring a seamless experience for all stakeholders involved.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Event Planning and Management:
    • Develop and manage event timelines, budgets, and project plans for various fundraising events including galas, auctions, and virtual events.
    • Coordinate with internal teams to align event objectives with organizational goals and ensure all aspects of the event are executed effectively.
    • Identify and secure venues, vendors, and other resources necessary for event success.
    • Oversee event logistics including setup, operations, and teardown, ensuring all activities run smoothly.
  2. Fundraising Strategy:
    • Collaborate with the development team to create and implement strategies for increasing event revenue and donor engagement.
    • Develop and execute marketing and promotional strategies to drive attendance and maximize fundraising potential.
    • Monitor and evaluate event performance metrics, making recommendations for improvements and adjustments as needed.
  3. Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Build and maintain relationships with sponsors, donors, and volunteers, ensuring clear communication and engagement throughout the event planning process.
    • Manage volunteer recruitment, training, and coordination to ensure adequate support for events.
    • Provide excellent customer service to event attendees, addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
  4. Event Promotion:
    • Create compelling event materials including invitations, programs, and promotional content.
    • Utilize various communication channels such as social media, email, and press releases to promote events and engage potential attendees.
    • Analyze and report on the effectiveness of promotional efforts and make data-driven recommendations for future events.
  5. Administrative Duties:
    • Maintain accurate records of event details, including budgets, contracts, and attendee information.
    • Prepare and present post-event reports detailing outcomes, feedback, and areas for improvement.
    • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and organizational policies related to fundraising events.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Event Management, Nonprofit Management, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in event planning and coordination, preferably within a nonprofit or fundraising environment.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing fundraising events and achieving revenue targets.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate a diverse group of stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in event management software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
