Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Development:
- Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs), instructional designers, and other stakeholders to design and develop engaging and effective remote learning experiences.
- Create compelling and interactive course content, including multimedia elements such as videos, quizzes, simulations, and other digital assets that enhance learner engagement and retention.
- Utilize instructional design models and best practices to ensure the development of well-structured, pedagogically sound learning materials.
- Learner-Centered Approach:
- Apply a learner-centered design approach to ensure that all learning experiences are tailored to the needs, preferences, and learning styles of diverse audiences.
- Conduct needs assessments and learner analysis to identify key learning objectives and ensure alignment with overall educational goals.
- Technology Integration:
- Leverage various e-learning tools, platforms, and technologies to create interactive and immersive learning experiences. Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance the learning experience.
- Ensure that learning solutions are compatible with a range of devices and platforms, providing a seamless experience for all learners.
- Quality Assurance:
- Implement rigorous quality assurance processes to review and test learning materials for accuracy, functionality, and user experience.
- Gather feedback from learners and stakeholders to continuously improve and refine learning materials based on their input and performance data.
- Project Management:
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to project timelines and delivering high-quality learning experiences within budget constraints.
- Communicate effectively with project teams, providing regular updates and ensuring that all project milestones are met.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all learning materials, including design specifications, user guides, and instructional manuals.
- Prepare and present reports on the effectiveness of learning solutions, including analysis of learner outcomes and feedback.
Qualifications:
- Education and Experience:
- Bachelorโs degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Educational Psychology, or a related field. A Masterโs degree is preferred.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in designing and developing remote learning solutions, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in e-learning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similar platforms.
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) such as Moodle, Blackboard, or Canvas.
- Knowledge of multimedia production tools and techniques, including video editing software and graphic design tools.
- Soft Skills:
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with remote teams and stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail, with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
