About the Role:

We seek an experienced and highly motivated Programmatic Media Buyer to join our growing digital marketing team. This remote role offers the flexibility to work from anywhere while contributing to our dynamic and innovative marketing strategies. The ideal candidate will deeply understand programmatic buying, digital media, and analytics and have a proven track record of driving successful campaigns through data-driven decisions.

As a Programmatic Media Buyer, you will plan, execute, optimize, and report on programmatic media campaigns across various platforms. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, creative, data analytics, and sales, to ensure our digital media campaigns are effective, efficient, and aligned with our overall marketing objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Campaign Strategy and Planning:
    • Develop and implement programmatic media buying strategies that align with overall marketing goals.
    • Conduct in-depth market research and audience analysis to identify key insights and opportunities.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to define campaign objectives, key performance indicators (KPIs), and success metrics.
    • Create detailed media plans, including budget allocation, channel selection, and targeting strategies.
  2. Campaign Execution and Optimization:
    • Manage end-to-end programmatic campaigns across various platforms, including DSPs (Demand Side Platforms), ad exchanges, and private marketplaces.
    • Implement audience segmentation and targeting strategies to reach the most relevant users.
    • Continuously monitor campaign performance and make real-time adjustments to optimize ROI.
    • A/B test creative, bidding strategies, and targeting to improve campaign effectiveness.
    • Ensure that campaigns are delivered on time, within budget, and meet performance goals.
  3. Data Analysis and Reporting:
    • Analyze campaign data to derive actionable insights and make informed recommendations for optimization.
    • Provide detailed performance reports, including insights on audience engagement, conversion rates, and overall ROI.
    • Utilize advanced analytics tools to track key metrics and uncover trends in user behavior.
    • Present campaign results and insights to internal stakeholders, highlighting successes and areas for improvement.
  4. Collaboration and Communication:
    • Work closely with creative teams to ensure that ad creatives align with the campaign strategy and are optimized for performance.
    • Partner with data and analytics teams to leverage data insights for campaign optimization.
    • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to ensure that programmatic efforts are integrated with broader marketing initiatives.
    • Maintain open communication with external vendors and partners to ensure seamless execution of programmatic campaigns.
  5. Technology and Innovation:
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in programmatic advertising, including new technologies, platforms, and tools.
    • Evaluate and adopt new programmatic tools and technologies to enhance campaign performance and efficiency.
    • Experiment with emerging channels and formats, such as CTV, audio, and native advertising, to expand our programmatic capabilities.
    • Contribute to developing best practices and standard operating procedures for programmatic buying.
  6. Compliance and Quality Assurance:
    • Ensure all campaigns comply with industry standards and regulations, including privacy laws and brand safety guidelines.
    • Conduct regular audits of programmatic campaigns to ensure accuracy and quality control.
    • Manage relationships with third-party vendors and platforms to ensure transparency and accountability in media buying.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in programmatic media buying, preferably remotely.
  • Proficiency with significant DSPs (e.g., Google DV360, The Trade Desk, MediaMath) and familiarity with ad exchanges and private marketplaces.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data sets.
  • Experience with audience segmentation, targeting, and optimization strategies.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
  • Familiarity with marketing analytics tools like Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or similar platforms.
  • Knowledge of compliance standards in digital advertising, including GDPR, CCPA, and brand safety protocols.
  • A proactive and results-driven mindset, focusing on achieving KPIs and driving business growth.
