Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Planning and Development:

    • Collaborate with senior leaders and key stakeholders to define learning goals, outcomes, and success metrics.
  2. Instructional Design and Content Creation:
    • Design, develop, and deliver engaging and effective e-learning content, including courses, modules, and multimedia elements.
    • Use instructional design models and frameworks (e.g., ADDIE, SAM) to create structured, interactive, learner-centric materials.
    • Ensure content is aligned with best practices in adult learning theory and incorporates modern instructional techniques and technologies.
  3. Technology Integration and Management:
    • Evaluate, select, and implement e-learning platforms, tools, and technologies to enhance the learning experience and streamline course delivery.
    • Manage and maintain the Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring seamless functionality and user experience.
    • Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in online learning and incorporate innovative solutions to enhance program effectiveness.
  4. Project Management and Coordination:
    • Lead and manage multiple e-learning projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.

    • Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, and monitor progress to ensure alignment with objectives.
  5. Quality Assurance and Evaluation:

    • Analyze performance data and feedback to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven recommendations.
    • Continuously refine and enhance learning materials based on evaluation results and industry best practices.
  6. Leadership and Mentorship:
    • Provide guidance and support to junior instructional designers and learning specialists, fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment.
    • Share knowledge and expertise through mentoring, training, and professional development opportunities.
    • Advocate for the importance of online learning and development within the organization and promote a culture of continuous learning.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Human Resources, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in online learning and development, with a proven track record in designing and implementing e-learning solutions.
  • Skills:
    • Expertise in instructional design methodologies and e-learning development tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia).
    • Strong knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms.
    • Proficiency in project management and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
    • Demonstrated ability to analyze data, assess learning outcomes, and drive continuous improvement.
