Job Overview:

We seek an experienced and strategic Virtual Social Media Buyer to join our dynamic team. This remote position offers the flexibility to work from anywhere while playing a crucial role in driving our digital advertising efforts. As a Social Media Buyer, you will plan, execute, and optimize paid social media campaigns across various platforms to achieve our marketing objectives. You will collaborate closely with our marketing, creative, and analytics teams to ensure our campaigns are effective, on-brand, and aligned with our overall business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Campaign Strategy and Planning:
    • Develop and execute comprehensive social media buying strategies that align with overall marketing objectives and brand positioning.
    • Conduct thorough audience research to identify target demographics, behaviors, and interests that drive effective ad targeting.
    • Collaborate with the creative team to conceptualize and design ad creatives that resonate with the target audience and drive engagement.
    • Utilize data-driven insights to craft compelling ad copy, headlines, and visuals that capture attention and drive conversions.
  2. Campaign Execution:
    • Set up, monitor, and manage paid social media campaigns on multiple platforms, including, but not limited to, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, and Pinterest.
    • Implement A/B testing methodologies to optimize ad performance. This includes testing different creative variations, audience segments, and bidding strategies.
    • Monitor ad performance in real-time, making data-driven adjustments to bids, budgets, and targeting to maximize ROI.
    • Ensure campaigns are timely and within budget, adhering to allocated spending limits and pacing guidelines.
  3. Performance Analysis and Optimization:
    • Regularly analyze campaign performance metrics, including click-through rates (CTR), conversion rates, cost per acquisition (CPA), and return on ad spend (ROAS).
    • Generate detailed performance reports, providing insights and recommendations for campaign optimization and future strategies.
    • Identify trends and patterns in campaign data, using this information to refine targeting, creative, and bidding strategies.
    • Continuously optimize campaigns by reallocating budgets, adjusting bids, and refining targeting to improve overall performance and achieve business objectives.
  4. Collaboration and Communication:
    • Work closely with the marketing team to ensure alignment between paid social media efforts and broader marketing initiatives, such as email marketing, content marketing, and influencer partnerships.
    • Communicate campaign performance and insights to stakeholders, providing clear and actionable recommendations for improvement.
    • Collaborate with the analytics team to set up tracking mechanisms, ensuring accurate measurement of key performance indicators (KPIs).
    • Stay informed about industry trends, platform updates, and emerging technologies, sharing knowledge and insights with the team to stay ahead.
  5. Budget Management:
    • Manage and allocate advertising budgets across campaigns, ensuring efficient use of resources to achieve desired outcomes.
    • Provide accurate forecasts and budget recommendations based on historical performance and industry benchmarks.
    • Monitor daily and weekly spending to ensure campaigns are pacing correctly and adjust budgets to meet goals.
  6. Compliance and Best Practices:
    • Ensure all campaigns comply with platform policies and advertising regulations.
    • Adhere to best practices for ad creative, audience targeting, and bidding strategies to maximize campaign effectiveness.
    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of platform-specific guidelines and ad formats, ensuring all campaigns are compliant and optimized for performance.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Social Media Buyer or similar role, with a strong, successful social media ad campaign track record.
  • In-depth knowledge of social media advertising platforms, including Facebook Ads Manager, Instagram Ads, Twitter Ads, LinkedIn Ads, TikTok Ads, and Pinterest Ads.
  • Proficiency in using analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Facebook Analytics, and third-party reporting platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Experience with A/B testing and campaign optimization techniques.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and concisely.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment, managing multiple campaigns and priorities simultaneously.
  • Creative thinking with a keen eye for design and copywriting.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation tools and CRM systems is a plus.
  • A bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, business, or a related field is preferred.
